Panorama control:
  •           Acts like a magazine cover.
  •           Offers a highlight of what is going on
  •           The tile normally has a parallax effect causing the title to run at a different speed than the page
  •           One can have multiple panorama, it does not have to the first one. It can be put anywhere in the application.

 Good practice with panorama:
  •           Pick at least three themes to showcase, don’t show entire app in panorama
  •            Surface the highlights of the content to encourage exploration into the application
  •           Make them immersive and showcase your brand as much as possible
  •           Limit the number of panes to five to increase effectiveness of the panorama page, and avoid lagging when dragging
  •           Vary the layout/content types in panes and prevent using the same layout.  Don’t have list after list
  •           Avoid putting too much functionality on panorama control, like search box, adding, removing, editing should be don’t in a separate page. Panorama is all about the overview.
  •           Don’t place the entire content of your app in the panorama. It’s supposed to showcase but don’t give everything out.

Installing libssl1.0 on Ubuntu 22.04

Following the upgrade of distro from 20.04 to 22.04 the libssl packages got affected, this ended up causing my vpn client to fail. The client kept opening and closing immediately.  on futher investigation I found the issue as the libssl client. Attached is a screenshot of the message I was getting when I tries starting it from the terminal. Tring to install libsll1.0-dev from apt was generating the following error: Due to this installing the package was not viable via the regular way, I really didn't want to downgrade back to 20.04 as this could have meant a clean installation, and I had just come from doing that, as the upgrade wasn't successful, but I still needed to try out the new 22.04 features. Google been my best friend finally come through after a long search on how to install libssl1.0-dev. I ended up landing on this link  , here they gave some instruction on how to install libss1.0-dev. Here is a simple way to change a C# datetime to a javascript Datetime.UTC value that can be used in the highcharts pointstart field.
